River Wandle: water levels along the river

7 gauges report along the River Wandle. 3 are below normal for the date and 1 above. Low water clearly outweighs high water at the moment.

The gauges are in Greater London. Reading the gauges in order shows how a rise or a dry spell travels downstream, usually over a day or more on a big river. Autumn is often a low point for rivers after the summer, until steady rain returns.
