River Esk: water levels along the river

5 gauges report along the River Esk. 1 of them reads below normal for the date, and none is running high.

The gauges on this page are spread across Scotland, North Yorkshire and Cumbria. Reading the gauges in order shows how a rise or a dry spell travels downstream, usually over a day or more on a big river. Autumn is often a low point for rivers after the summer, until steady rain returns.
