We follow 913 live gauges across Finland, spread over 18 regions. Right now 126 of them read below normal for the time of year, 405 are in their usual range and 340 are running high.
Low and high readings are fairly evenly spread. Autumn is often a low point for rivers after the summer, until steady rain returns. The biggest rivers on the list include the Kymijoki, Kokemäenjoki, Vuoksi and Kemijoki.
Readings come from Suomen ympäristökeskus (Syke) and refresh as new data is published.
